I received a letter on June 21 from the IRS telling me that I would get my stimulus check on June 27! Why didn’t they just send me the check.
I wonder how much money the IRS wasted sending these notices to all eligible recipients of the stimulus checks, including my sister who received her notice a week after her money was already deposited electronically to her bank account.
